As a native of the North Carolina Piedmont, Jennie has fond memories of growing up on her grandparent’s farm surrounded by late summer vines of Muscadine and Scuppernong grapes. Those early recollections stayed with her through ten years in publishing advertising sales and another ten years in pharmaceutical sales, before an opportunity in 2009 to join North Carolina’s most prominent wine club as manager.

Jennie’s dedication and commitment to design, customer service, and hospitality have been at the core of her professional life and always played an integral role. From turning her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for event planning into a successful eight-year venture as co-owner of Perfect Pair Events to joining Foothills Brewing to launch their new event space in downtown Winston-Salem. Jennie is an avid wine enthusiast consuming wine knowledge quickly and rapidly. She recently received Level 1 WSET certification and is now working on Level 2. When not busy learning how to grow the finest grapes and make the boldest premium wines, Jennie stays busy with her blended family—including five young, active adults. In addition, she finds time in her busy schedule to pursue philanthropic efforts, such as volunteering at Riverwood Therapeutic Riding Center on the event/fundraising committee.
