Saturday, July 12th from 5:00PM – 8:00PM – Intimate 6 Course winemaker dinner at the Private Estate Home. Esteemed chef Benjamin Sullivan brings the flavors of the Piedmont and Western NC to life in an immersive culinary journey this evening.
Chef’s Dinner Menu
The evening begins in the Game Room with a selection of Amuse Bouche passed among guests as you enjoy games of billiards and shuffleboard, accompanied by a glass of sparkling wine.
Second Course
Paired with 2023 Sauvignon Blanc
Whitefish with a fig leaf crust, fermented pepper coulis, roasted pickled pineapple, and toasted coconut.
Third Course
Paired with 2022 Fumé Blanc
Summer chicken with Parisian gnocchi, roasted zucchini and carrots, finished with a savory pan sauce.
Fourth Course
Paired with First Edition 2019 The Mountain
Pork belly and watermelon with fresh herbs and shallots.
Fifth Course
Paired with 2021 The Mountain
Peppercorn-crusted steak with root vegetables, salsa verde, and pan jus.
Dessert
Paired with Pommeau
Blue cheese gougères filled with apple gel, apple molasses, and toasted hazelnuts.
The evening concludes on the patio, watching the sunset and enjoying panoramic views of the valley below.
